Permitting of all shoreline construction and repairs is required by Alabama Power Company. Their Lake Martin office is located on Highway 49 just south of Dadeville and their phone number is 256-825-0053. Usually this process ranges from two weeks to months depending on the type and size of the improvements being made.

Many times authorization and approval is also required by the property’s Architectural Review Committee of the local Homeowner’s Association or Condo Owner’s Association should they exist. Lake Martin Dock will be able to help you through this process should you need it.
